Computer Repair
Hard drives, power supply units, and motherboards are the most common hardware problems. But we also repair laptop power connectors, keyboards, broken hinges, broken fans, and cracked screens.
Does your computer seem to be getting slower? Maybe you need more memory or a solid-state hard drive (SSD). These upgrades are relatively low-cost and will breath new life into a slow computer!
Malware, Windows corruption, or other software problems can make your computer slow and also cause it to crash. We can fix software-related problems such as viruses and other malware, email configuration problems, Quickbooks issues, and ACT! database sharing. We can also reinstall or reset Windows to its factory default while keeping your pictures, documents, music and other data.
We can fix many issues remotely by controlling your computer over the Internet.
For example, if you have a problem with Quickbooks or Microsoft Outlook then just call us. We will give you instructions on downloading and running our remote support application.
Please note that this service is billed at our in-house rate with a minimum of $35 per incident.
Documents, photos, music, are all stored on your computer’s hard drive. The typical life span of a hard drive is 5 to 7 years, and when your hard drive dies, this data may become lost forever.
In many cases we can recover this data. We can also recommend ways to prevent data loss by designing a backup plan to fit your needs.
Wondering what to do with your old computer? Are you worried about the sensitive data that it contains?
We offer a FREE secure recycling service: just drop off your old computer equipment and we will destroy the hard drive and recycle the remaining parts. For a small charge we can remove the hard drive and return it to you.
Not all repairs are practical: sometimes an older computer can be replaced for less money than repairing it.
We will give you an estimate BEFORE the repairs are performed and will tell you if it’s time to buy a new computer.
